Privacy
The short version: this site has no accounts, sets no cookies, and collects nothing that identifies you. Your study progress is stored in your own browser and is never sent anywhere.
What is stored, and where
Everything the site remembers about you lives in your browser's local storage on your own device. It is never transmitted — there is no server-side application and no database to transmit it to. Three keys are used:
| Key | Contents |
|---|---|
ccaf-progress-v1 | Which lessons you have marked complete, which practice questions you answered and whether you got them right, your mock exam attempts and scores, and flashcard counts |
ccaf-theme | Light or dark |
ccaf:lang | Which language tab you last selected in a code sample |
None of this contains your name, email address, or any identifier. It is study behaviour and timestamps.
You can erase all of it at any time from the progress page, or by clearing site data for this domain in your browser. Doing so does not affect anything else, because there is nothing else.
Analytics
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count page views and measure loading performance.
These are cookieless. They set no cookie, use no browser fingerprinting, and do not track you across sites or between sessions. What is collected is aggregate: which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world the request came from, what kind of device and browser it was, and how quickly pages rendered. No profile is built and no data is sold or shared with advertisers.
Because nothing personally identifying is collected and no cookies are set, there is no consent banner. That is a deliberate choice — the alternative was tracking you and then asking permission for it.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel's infrastructure processes the technical details required to serve a request, including your IP address, in its server logs. That is a function of how the internet works rather than something this site does with the data; those logs are retained and handled under Vercel's privacy policy.
Links off the site
Lesson pages cite their sources, so they link out — mostly to Anthropic's documentation and engineering write-ups. The footer carries an optional link to a third-party payment page if you choose to support the site.
Once you follow any of these, you are on someone else's site under their privacy policy. This site never passes any information about you to them. Nothing you do here is shared with the payment provider, and supporting the site is entirely anonymous from this side — no record is kept of who did.
What this site does not do
- No user accounts, sign-in, or password handling
- No email collection, newsletter, or contact form
- No advertising, ad networks, or retargeting pixels
- No third-party trackers, social widgets, or embedded content
- No selling, renting, or sharing of data — there is none to sell
- No profiling, and no automated decision-making about you
Children
The site is study material for a professional certification and is not directed at children. No age information is collected because no personal information is collected.
Your rights
Data-protection law gives you rights of access, correction, deletion and portability over personal data held about you. This site holds none, so there is nothing to request — the only data that exists is in your browser, under your control, and you can delete it yourself in one click.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected here along with the date below. Since the site collects nothing, changes are most likely to be clarifications rather than expansions of scope.
